Once the soft hand was in his, Ziric's expression seemed to soften and become less statue-like. It wasn't that he smiled it was just he looked more content, peaceful almost. Course he'd always liked physical contact. And he took it as a personal win to get the boys hand in his.
"If I'm making a move is the move working?" He grinned down at the boy then hiked his bag higher up on his shoulder. "And why, pray tell, does holding hands with me is so very lucky?"
Ah, the physical actions and needs of humans were so cute sometimes. With Uruka? No doubt that it was cute. Breathing in deeply all he could smell was the boy next to him. "Mmm, yes, you do. But of course you know that don't you?"
Not looking down to see the reaction on the boys face he took in the cafeteria, which was near empty so early in the morning. As Uruka gathered up a considerable amount of food he scouted out a place to sit. Once finding one he simply waited for the girlish boy to finish getting his breakfast.

He paid for his breakfast with a swipe of his credit card and then grabbed Ziric yet again, pulling him to a table. With a deep breath, he began organizing himself.
" So you never told me how old you are.."
He was now slightly afraid to hear it, if the vampire was dodging his question. He ignored the whispers he heard around him, he always heard them, and they were shocked when he went on a date, which made him a little mad. Or when he looked like he was on a date.
Either way, he started with a grapefruit half, no sugar, as well as his coffee, which was black. A sparkly lip stick coated his lips, and he wasn't worried at all, because it was resistant to food. he was designed to lure in men, especially vampires. He had a little contempt for men, but it was a little bit rare.

Getting dragged along behind the boy was fun, and he was smiling the whole way to their seat. People might be staring, people might be whispering, but he was having far too much fun to care. He spotted a friend or two and they gave him raised eyebrows and what the heck kind of looks. Ziric gave a wink and continued being dragged.
Once seated he watched the boy start in on his breakfast propping up his head with the heel of his palm. "How old do you think I am?"
It wasn't that he was voiding it he'd just focused on the boy so much he'd missed the age question. Now that Uruka was being persistant he was going to make a game out of it. He tended to make a lot of things a game.
"So..like things bitter?" Ziri gestured at the fruit and coffee thinking mostly of his own hunger. He'd have to feed soon or make a fool of himself. There were plenty of groupies at the school who'd feed him, but he oddly didn't want Uruka to think badly of him. So he'd have to do it in private. The question now was when, where and with whom?

" Well.. you don't talk like a geezer, and based on my experiences with vampires I'd put you in the last quarter of 100, so between 75 and 100"
He could be very analytical as he sat there, stabbing the grapefruit with a serrated spoon, and he then was asked if he liked it bitter. Now if he was a hormonally driven teenager, much like the rest of his age group he would make an idiotic sex joke at this point, but instead he went the sensible way.
" I don't enjoy things masking the natural flavors of my food. I want my coffee to taste like coffee, not tiramisu flavored creamer."
At this point he was done segmenting the grapefruit, and began eating the pink pieces, savoring the sour flavor that was within his mouth, quickly finishing it as he went to his toasted bagel with cream cheese, eyeing the vampire, seeing the fact that he needed to feed.
" I'd let you feed from me, but thats one thing that I don't allow anyone to do. "

Guess he acted younger than he felt, but when one spends their days in a high school it tends to affect their perspective on life. Spend enough time fitting in with teenagers and you start to feel like a teenager once again, or at least it was that way for him. Even in a vampire setting he was pretty young. Nothing like the one's who'd lived for hundreds of years. Those vampires scared him. There was almost nothing human left in most.
"Logical guess. But what if I'm just a good actor? Wanting to blend in with all you humans?" He didn't want the game to end even though the boy had guessed in the right range on the first try. What was with this boy? How did he know his kind so well? Even living amongst them like students did in this school, could one learn so much?
He nodded at the boys explanation as to why he didn't alter the breakfast foods. For once again it made logical sense. Ziric wasn't quite used to people being so logical all the time. Yes, he didn't let emotions exactly rule his life, but they did play a part. He often did things on impulse even if they didn't make any sense. But yet, the boy's hugging? Actions? And even his words seem to change every second. Impulsive yet decisive, and what exactly was going on in that darling head of his?
"Hmm, that makes sense. Some things come out so perfect you don't want to change them, but I'm a weak man. I have to have many things sweetened." Or he used to. As the boy ate he simply sat and watched trying to ponder out the workings of such an interesting boy. In the midst of this he barely heard the boy speak he was thinking so hard. "Feed? Oh, yes. I wasn't going to ask, Uruka. That would be rude. My kind tend to know willing donors in the school. I don't remember you being on that list. I don't take from the unwilling."
He paused his eyes drifting to the major vein in the boy's neck. "No matter how appetizing the human. That is simply something I will not do." Ziric stared at the boy refusing to feel ashamed. For it was not his fault for being a vampire, and it was not his fault that blood was his food. If the boy did not wish to donate, then so be it. Food could be found elsewhere.
(ooc. sorry it's so long...got away with myself.. >.<)

" But I would have to take it that I'm right, because you had this little look in your eyes when I said that. "
He somehow managed to be frightening in high heels. How he did it you would never know, but he did. And as he sat there, continuing to eat, he looked back at Ziric.
He knew a lot about people, and vampires still had all of the same instincts as a human had, theirs were just a little more carnal. His phone was buzzing in his purse, and he hit the pouch where the phone was, and it shut up. No one was going to disturb him from this conversation, not even the dude who walked up to your front door with million dollar checks. Reaching into the pocket of his very short short short's he pulled out his credit card, slipping it back into his wallet, which was in his purse.
" I wouldn't want to wreck your pretty little face, but you wouldn't be the first vampire I've injured. But he left the school, out of shame. Whatever.."
It was then that one of the idiots who leaned to the right side of politics in the school decided to antagonize Uruka, a bad thing to do. After being hit with a quarter of a bagel, he immediately stood up, as people didn't do that to him.
Walking over to him, a gentle click coming from each heel with each step, purse on his shoulder, he stood in front of the table with the offending food flingers. He knew which one had thrown the bagel, and grabbed his wrist, and used the boy's own weight to flip him so that his face had a rendezvous with the floor.
" Scatter."
He said this in a tone that made the hairs on your neck stand up straight, to the injured boy and all his friends, and they all hustled out of the cafeteria. He then checked all his nails to make sure he hadn't broken one and suavely walked back over, sitting down in front of Ziric.
" Sorry about that, where were we?"
ooc; we needed a twist...

Where had this come from? He thought they were having a relatively nice conversation and then the boy decides to threaten him. Ziric had just said that he would not drink from the boy and instead of leaving it at that the boy threatens him. Well, he didn't have to sit around and listen to this, take this. Especially not from some pup.
He stood to leave just as the bagel hit Uruka, and there he remained standing while the odd boy went and handled things. When the boy returned he stared at him for a moment then leaned over bracing himself on the table. "You don't scare me. Bravado, threats, and baring me a cold shoulder won't send me running for the hills in fear."
His eyes were dark the brown bleeding to black. "So either stop it, or I'll have to call your little bluff." Holding hands and random hugs weren't going to make things smooth if this is how the boy was going to act toward him. It wasn't like he came from some royal family or something, or even the fact that he was a vampire and Uruka a human. It was the fact that he respected people and expected, no demanded, the same. He didn't go around threatening people who haven't warranted it. And he wouldn't lay down and take threats either.
Straightening he grabbed his bag and jerked it up on his shoulder. "When you're done brandishing yourself like a young bull come find me. I'd like to get to know the person underneath." And with that he started to walk away. One thing he was good at, walking away when he didn't want to deal with something. If the kid wanted to play the tough guy role then he could play it with someone else.

At the clicking of running heels and the boy's plea he stopped one hand wrapped tightly around his bag's strap. With that face looking up at him in such a way he simply couldn't stay angry. Features softening he reached out a hand to brush the back of his fingers against the boy's cheek.
"Alright, no more running with those heels. Let's go grab your food and held elsewhere, hmm? It's far to crowded in here." He stepped back a bit and waved for Uruka to lead the way back to the table. The bit about finding out his age had made him smile, but he remained quiet for now waiting until they went back to the table until he spoke again.
"I couldn't have you doing all that just for me, now could I? But if you want to know so badly you'll have to stop puffing out your chest like some challenge at me." Ziric stood waiting for the boy to gather his food knowing that the boy had sacrificed something to go after him. He didn't know how big of a sacrifice it was, but he knew to have chased him to plead just a little bit Uruka had proved himself. The young vampire will remember those faces that had insulted Uruka, and those low-lifes would face more than a cafeteria floor. It wasn't that the boy meant so much to him, it was the fact that Ziric couldn't stand people treating others like that.
"Once we're alone I'll tell you my age, and you can ask anything else you wish to know as well." Smiling he waited patiently. "And when I say anything, I mean it."

"That's all you're taking? An apple? You paid for all that and are simply taking an apple?" He waved at the tray of food his eyes wide in amazement. If the boy was hungry he didn't want to deprive him of sustenance. At least Uruka looked happier than he had only moments before.
"I'm not taking you off to a cave, and can't you think of a different nick name? Just because I'm a vampire doesn't mean that defines who I am." His feet started off out of the cafeteria while his mind went through his various hiding spots they could retreat to. None of which were a cave. "I also don't even own a coffin."
With the soft click of the boy's heels and his near silent shoes the went down the hallway. It was nice to not be alone as he had been when sitting and reading his book. Though he wasn't quite sure if this odd boy was really improving his morning or simply making it more interesting. At a random door he paused looked around and pushed it open. "After you Lil' Prince, and I promise nothing is going to hurt you."
Beyond the door lay a stairway a bit old and obviously not used very much. "Found it last year. I think it's a stairway for people who work at the school to use. It's a bit dusty but nice and quiet." Also a nice way to sneak around the school in.
"So ask away, Lil' Prince." He set down his bag and sat on a step waiting for the first question.

Not exactly one question but that didn't bother him. Leaning back onto his elbows onto a stair he tilted his head back staring at the spiral of the stairs. "I'm eighty-four years old. Most of my family stills lives and they reside in Spain. And I was changed by some who I thought I could trust."
Ziric sighed deeply his eyes rolling to look down and away from Uruka. "Fifteen...so young. What about your family?" He spoke softly his spirit not nearly as light hearted before the questions. It didn't bother him to speak of family, or his age really. It was the way he was made a betrayal that has never been matched.
"You don't have to answer if you don't want to." Once again he spoke softly still not looking over at the young boy. His hands curled into lose fists, relaxed then curled again. Uruka obviously had something against vampires, and he could understand that. But people who hated his kind didn't know that there were vampires who hadn't wanted this. Sure he could of met the sun like his mother, but the fear of death was too great. And why should he sacrifice his life simply because someone else chose to steal it from him? Why couldn't people understand that just because he was a monster didn't mean he asked to be one.

He nodded eyes drifting down to stare at the floor. Why had he agreed to letting this boy ask whatever he wanted? Because he was bored? Or was it that he wanted someone to actually know who he was, or maybe he just didn't care who knew about his life. "Yes, they are all vampire. Though I lied, not all of them live. My mother met the sun before I awoke to this new life of mine."
Then he fell silent as Uruka told of his life and what a sad life that was, which made Ziric feel guilty for adding that bit about his mother. Overall his life had been a good one nothing like the one this boy probably has led. But he also knew that no one wanted, liked, or asked for pity so instead of turning such eyes to Uruka he held out a hand to hold. Just in case the boy might want comfort, and because well, he wanted to.
At the young boy's question he blinked in shock then snapped his head to the side to stare at the boy. Was he joking? He wasn't smiling, and his voice didn't sound like he was joking. "I do not look for relationships. If I find a person then I find a person. If not then I continue living, or whatever you call my existence, and do not fret over it."
He shrugged his dark eyes still focused on Uruka. "Now I ask. Are you in search of a relationship? And if so was the inquiry about my relationship status a way of hinting that you might want one with me?" Ziric scooted a bit closer to the boy a smile slowly growing as he watched the boy.
