With fire burning on my tongue, I can't help but think about how I never had you in my arms. ------------------------------- Remila "Rem" Rite sighed as she removed her father's Slayer notes from her purse. The radiant setting sun glared at her, which she ignored. Night was rapidly approaching and she needed to train a bit.
She had let herself get rusty, which she hated. Her father always said "You must always be on the top of your game. Vampires are always going to be stronger then you. If you're not pushing yourself farther then you can go, you get killed. Understand?"
She opened the book to part about running water.
Contrary to popular belief/myths, vampires can cross running water. They are not burnt by water. While they are not weakened by water, they aren't strengthened by it. If the are on a boat in the middle of a lake or something, the bastards probably have somebody you love and don't want you interrupting their little snack.
Rem closed the small leather bound book and gripped the Celtic cross that use to belong to her mother, until Rick lured her into becoming an Atheist. Her mother use to be a strong believer in God, but Rick couldn't have that. He just had to fuck everything in Rem's life up.
She kissed the cross and slowly blessed herself with the Trinity and began to stretch, loosening her muscles.
She pulled out the lightly carved Silver dagger that once upon a time, belong to her father. Her fingers clutched the leather hilt on the dagger before she began to swipe at the air, the metal blade still sheathed.
------------------------------- My love for you, died like winter, giving way to a new start. Rem is wear dark grey skirt, black short sleeved shirt, and black gym shoes. Lyrics and Format have been made by me.

Damon was walking through the court yard of the school. He didn’t go to the school but he new most people and they really didn’t mind. Night was about to fall upon him as the sun was gently setting. He wasn’t nervous though, he was a brilliant combat fighter, and a professional sharp shooter. If a vamp wanted to start something, they better know how to finish it. Damon adjusted his 9 millimeter hand gun and continued walking. Damon knew along time about the vampires here, he didn’t really care for them. Though he didn’t hate them he didn’t care for them. He thought people who wanted to become a vampire were pathetic. The annoyance of the silence made Damon light up a cigarette, a bad habit he had for a long time. He paced along taking a hit until it was gone. He heard someone and he turned to find them. When he turned around in the mid distance was a girl. He couldn’t really tell what she looked like so he approached her cautiously.
When he got up to her, he could see that she was training. Training at night? That’s odd, Damon thought. She was pretty good but not completely ready and he could tell. Damon had been training practically his entire life, because he always had to fight. He is a black belt, and has trained in marine conditions. Because there are classes for if you ever want to become a marine, and Damon was seriously considering it for a moment. Damon walked up to her slowly. ”What are you training for?” Damon asked out of pure curiosity.

With fire burning on my tongue, I can't help but think about how I never had you in my arms. ------------------------------- Rem squeaked in surprise before whipping around to face the person who spoke. A growl trembled though her throat. She was sure he was a vampire. Why else would he be outside when it was getting to be dark out (Never mind her being outside.), and there where adult vampires lurking though the school.
"To kill you're disgusting kind," She snarled, "You vampire filth." Ah, straightforwardness. What a way to say "I hate your kind".
She wish she had trained during the summer. Slayer sites had said Halbrook was a vampire hot-spot. When she told her mother this, she had been laughed at and was told "Hun, Vampires are good." The hell they where.
She had to beat the vampire flame out, for her father. She couldn't let him be unavenged. He had trained her, she couldn't let what he worked so hard to teach her go to waste. He died showing her how to kill a vampire, and how dangerous her job will be.
------------------------------- My love for you, died like winter, giving way to a new start.

Damon was use to straight forward people, so when the girl spoke in such a manner he chuckled.
"To kill you're disgusting kind," She snarled, "You vampire filth."
Damon just starred at her with a giant smirk on his face. A vampire? No Damon was no where near a vampire. ”Uhh lady I think you got the wrong idea…im human”
Damon looked at her momentarily before laughing again. It was hilarious how she could so quickly compare him to a vampire. This girl must have some sort of hate for vampire, where did all this hate come from, theses questions went through Damon’s head. ”Well not everyone is afraid to walk outside..vampires don’t scare me..” Damon said loudly, as if he was trying to get peoples attention.
” Im Damon also I am a human..” Damon smiled evily and leaned his body back wards in a full black flip.
”I was just seeing what you were doing..”

With fire burning on my tongue, I can't help but think about how I never had you in my arms. ------------------------------- A blush settled on Rem's cheeks. She had been so quick to assume and made an ass out of herself.
"Rem Rite, aspiring Vampire Slayer, and fellow human." She introduced herself, sticking her dagger into her bag. She had forgotten to add her belt to her outfit. She would have done some show-off move, if it wasn't for the fact that she was wearing a short skirt and she didn't want Damon to see her underpants.
That would be embarrassing.
"It wasn't the 'walking outside' that made me assume you weren't human, vampires can go outside in the light for about two hours, it was the 'outside at night' bit. Normally, everybody is in their dorms at this time." She explained, shifting nervously. She wasn't normally quick to judge, but when she was training, she normally assumed every moving thing in the area was a vampire.
It was a bad habit she picked up from her father, when he was alive.

"Rem Rite, aspiring Vampire Slayer, and fellow human."
"Suppose its nice to meet you Rem Rite..even if under bad circumstances"
Damon walked along side her in a steady motion. He reached for a peice of gum to stabilize his nicotine cravings. Night had finally fell upon them and everything was dark. It was silent, so silent, it was to silent? Damon reached into his pants and grabbed his gun.
"Somethings up Remmy...something is not right" Damon said giving Rem his own personal nickname. He looked around for anything suspicious, he heard something in the bushes. Damon reached in and pulled whatever it was out, it was a kid, not even a vampire kid. Damon rolled his eyes and nudged the kid to leave.
"The vampires probably sent him as a spy..pesky bastards" Damon said placing his gun back in the correct spot.

"I don't think he was a spy," Rem replied. "They would use somebody older, who can comprehend their family being threatened. That's one of their favorite ways of getting what they want."
Cold hands gripped her small shoulders. She watched as her father's throat was ripped out, a cruel laugh filling her ears.
"That will be your mother next if you become a slayer."
****
A cold smirk sent shiver though her spin. "Tell her that I was the one that killed your father, and yor parents will meet again... in Hell." "I was just old enough to understand what death meant." She whispred to herself.

I'm sure it tasted oh so sweet ;but it was never good enough for me. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Abrianna was quite bored. She had been walking the halls of the dorms, making sure everyone was in. Technically the school did not have a curfew. But most of the students were in all at the same time because of the vampires who would feed off the stragglers that roamed late. Scaring the stragglers was her favorite. Sure she would feed too, but only if they let her. Sometimes she did more, toying and teasing the boys. That was one of her favorite things to do. She couldn’t help that she enjoyed it, but then again, who didn’t?
She smirked and winked as she passed one of the senior boys entering his dorm. He went inside quickly and she couldn’t help but smirk even more. She liked when they feared her but she liked it even more when they feared and wanted her. It made her feel like she had even more power than she already did. She could pretty much do whatever she wanted in the school as her father was in charge and he never punished her.
But now she was bored and the sun was setting. Since she didn’t sleep, she had to find a way to entertain herself. She peered out into the courtyard and saw a girl she didn’t recognize swinging a silver dagger around. She laughed to herself slightly and silently and unnoticeably jumped into the tree behind the girl. Abby was good at being quite and hiding herself and she did so as she simply watched the girl and the guy who was obviously older.
Their conversation amused her. The girl thought she could kill vampires. Well, Abby thought the girl to be slow and untrained. She would be able to take the girl out in a matter of seconds. The boy wouldn’t be too much of a problem either. It wasn’t that she was planning on killing or hurting anyone, she just knew if she had to it would not be a problem. She was very capable of handling any human. She couldn’t help but snicker as they said something about spies and she jumped down from her position behind the two.
Abrianna grabbed they boy’s gun quickly and swiftly before he fully had enough time to put it away. “Trust me,” She purred, “Spies aren’t as noticeable as you would think.” She looked over the gun slightly, raising an eyebrow at it before she looked back up to the two, “Good luck saving your neck with this.” She tossed it back to the boy, not worrying about it at all. She highly doubted he would shoot her and if he did, she would survive.
She circled behind the boy first, dragging her fingertips over the back of his neck gently, and then around the girl before facing them again, “Now, what is a little girl like yourself doing out with a man way out of your league?” Her smirk returned as she winked at the man. “Age wise and appearance wise?” Abrianna could be a bit of a bitch, but she didn’t care. She said as she pleased and did as she pleased.

Rem refused to admit she was surprised by the vampire's appearance. She wouldn't let the filthy thing have the satisfaction.
"Why are you still in this school?"Rem snarled back, bristling. "You could have moved onto college by now. Or are you not smart enough and your Master couldn't buy you in?"She knew she was pushing her luck, but she wasn't going to let some vampire bitch push her around.
Nope, wasn't going to happen. And she wasn't going to let anyone, vampire or not, insult her.
Rem slipped on hand into her bag, knowing the vampire was most likely going to notice this movement, an her other hand slowly inched behind her, lightly tracing the elastic of her skirt.

” “Spies aren’t as noticeable as you would think.”
Damon rolled his eyes slightly, this girl might have had him in vampire knowledge, but not on gun knowledge. So when she threw back his gun he cocked it back and placed it in his pants. He wasn’t in the mood to shoot any vamps today, and she didn’t seen like she wanted to fight.
”I caught two spies yesterday..maybe you vamps should find better ones..or at least well trained ones” Damon said with a quick smirk.
When Damon felt her fingertips glide across his neck he laughed for a moment. Who was this girl and who did she think she was? Damon glared at her with cold eyes.
” Now, what is a little girl like yourself doing out with a man way out of your league?”
Damon grumbled slightly to himself trying to ignore this girl. “Age wise and appearance wise?”
Damon looked over at Rem with a collective smile. ”Don’t listen to her Rem..shes just a witch.. Damon said smoothly as he looked over at this girl. ”And you are ?” Damon said rudely.

I'm sure it tasted oh so sweet ;but it was never good enough for me. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - A bored vampire was never one to come across. Especially if they became interested in you. And now she was interested in these two. They seemed all too easy of a prey. She had recently fed so she wasn’t looking to drink from them. Of course, if they let her she wouldn’t say no either, especially not to the boy. She was surprised she hadn’t seen him around before. She was sure if she had , she would have remembered.
Jumping down from the tree and making her presence known, she spoke out. She knew what weapons the two had and she wasn’t worried. She was sure she could hold her own and if they did succeed in hurting her, her father would not be too happy about it and they would get their own. The thought only made her smirk stay in place. She ignored his comment about well trained spies. She wasn’t in charge of them so she could care less if they knew what they were doing or not.
Her eyes snapped to the girl who the boy called Rem as she reached into her bag and behind her back. “Pull out your silver steaks and crosses girl, I’m not too scared.” She sneered, ignoring her comments for now. Obviously she wasn’t looking for a fight or she would have the gun in pieces and the girl pressed up against the tree for even moving toward reaching for whatever she may have. Abby was simply bored and entertaining herself with the two. When they bored her, she would be on her way.
Her blue green eyes darkened slightly with the boys rude questioning. “Abrianna Turner,” She purred again in her normal voice. If they didn’t recognize her name, they would recognize her surname. Everyone in the town knew of her sire, he was a very powerful man. “And you two?” She already got the name of the girl, now she was wondering about the boy.

Rem let out a choked laugh. How would she fit a crucifix and stakes down the back of her skirt? "Give our name to a vampire witch?" She scoffed. "What makes you think we want to be cursed?" Her fingers drifted over the sharp blade, point made out of liquefied silver.
She was so lucky she lived across the street from an ex slayer weapon maker. She had been practicing with the small weapon all summer, when she found out she would be attending Halbrook. Her wall had been riddled with tiny puncture marks when it was time for her to leave.
She gripped three of the six handheld weapons, avoiding the sharp edges. She withdrew the throwing stars, each small silver star had it own space between her fingers.
"Daddy, I don't want to know how to handle throwing stars!"
"A Slayer must know how to handle all types of weapons. You'll never know what you'll end up with. Unerstand?"
"Yes, father."
She hadn't understood what he meant at first, until she saw him fighting a vampire. He ha used three different types of weapons to kill it.
"If you must know who we are, I am Remma Hart, and he is Roman Ret." She lied. Why, oh why, did he have to call her Rem infront of the filth?

“Abrianna Turner,” Was what the vampire girl said, Damon thought to himself momentarily then it finally hit him. Turner is the name of the head vampire around here, she must be his daughter. Fucking great! Damon though not only is she a vampire she is “The Vampire”. Pulling out a cigarette box he grabbed one and lit it up. He watched carefully as Abrianna was talking to Rem, it was pretty obvious Abrianna knew Rem didn’t have a chance. Rem was a nice kid who just had a hate for vampires. “And you two?” Damon heard Abrianna say in her usual tone. "If you must know who we are, I am Remma Hart, and he is Roman Ret." When Remila said that Damon stayed silent, he was following Rem’s lead. Maybe it was better if she didn’t know our names do to the fact she is a vampire. And vampires are always trying to surround Damon, but Damon refuses to become one. Sucking blood is obviously not Damon’s thing.
”Yea its Roman Ret..dont forget it vampy Damon said in a harsh tone as he continued smoking his cigarette.

I'm sure it tasted oh so sweet ;but it was never good enough for me. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Abrianna raised an eyebrow at the girl. She really did not know much, did she? Such a naïve little girl. Abby wasn’t sure if she had been the same way or not when she was human. She honestly hardly remembered anything past when she was turned three years ago. She remembered her twin brother most of all though. But she figured that was mainly because twins were so connected as it was.
She waited for the names of the two. She could tell that the boy was older and most likely did not attend the high school. Abby was pretty sure the girl was a student though. The names the girl gave didn’t ring any bells. Her smirk held its place as normal. “I’ll be sure to check for your file.” She wasn’t even thinking of the girl giving her fake names, she simply just liked reading the students files. She wasn’t supposed to, but no one stopped her. She liked knowing where they came from and what pushed their buttons.
Her eyes snapped back to the boy as he told her not to forget his name in a harsh tone, calling her ‘vampy’. “Abrianna.” She corrected him codly. He was cute but very rude. She did not appreciate being disrespected. Her eyes lightened back up as the few courtyard lights came on and the sun disappeared behind the horizon. “Now, back to my original question. What are you two doing out on school grounds at this time?”

Rem began to spin another lie. Lying to vampires where fun. She let out an avergated sigh and gave Abrianna a heated glare. "A girl can't talk to her step-brother?" She growled. The Slayer-to- be had a reason she was not about to give the vampire (training to slay said vampire's kind.), and she wasn't just going to leave Damon to fend for himself. "I barely got to talk to him during that damned wedding, I thought now would be a good time, with no students to bother us." Ah, the things her mind can come up with.
Step siblings who barely knew each other, but met at their parents' wedding, so they knew each other, who would have thought of it? Nobody, that's who.
She did a little happy dance in her head, forgetting that Abrianna was going to be checking for "Remma Hart's" record, which where nonexistant.
Like I sai before: Lying to vampires was fun.
